1.Is your shipping safe and compliant with HAZMAT rules?

Yes. We are trained and certified to handle all the materials we sell. We are careful to protect our shipping companies, the general public, and our clients.  All of our "division 4.3" materials are shipped in UN 4GV HAZMAT compliant packaging. Because we are dealing with metals that are classified as corrosives and "dangerous when wet," we require that all HAZMAT orders shipped by FedEx must be signed for by an adult that is 21 years of age (or older).  Go to our "Shipping Details" page for more information.

2.How long will it take to receive my order?

Our emphasis is on quick processing and communication with our customers. Make sure to double check your address and give us an accurate email address and phone number so that we can let you know if there are any delays. Product quantities change all the time as products arrive at our facility and are shipped out. Typically we will ship orders within two business days. We are dedicated to customer service.  As soon as your order is shipped, we will send you a FedEx tracking number. See our section below on international orders for special instructions and limitations.

3.Do you keep my address and phone number confidential?

Yes. We do not share your information with anyone. We are consumers ourselves and we also don't like receiving tons of junk mail and calls from telemarketers. Absolutely no one will know about your order. That being said, we reserve the right to refuse to do business with people we feel are involved with illegal or dangerous activities.

4.Can I pick up my order?

No. We are not prepared at this time for retail sales. All items must be shipped. An exception to this would be if you are a school or research lab in our area. In that case, at our discretion, we may be able to deliver your items.

5.What if I need a quantity or metal that isn't listed?

We will be happy to accommodate your needs or special situations. Feel free to call us or email us if you want to discuss your situation. We will do everything possible to earn and retain your business. We want to be known as "the people who are easy to do business with," so within reason, we will make every effort to customize our service for you.

6.What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa/Master/Discover/Amex credit cards, bank wire transfers, business checks, postal money orders, and PayPal. Certain institutions may be eligible to submit purchase orders and receive product on credit.  Order early! You can phone in your orders and we can take the credit card over the phone if that is more convenient for you. Otherwise, feel confident that we will respond promptly to all orders made through the website.

7.Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship domestically and internationally. Click here for more information and rates.  International customers must comply with special limitations. Firstly, there are no returns on international orders. International orders can be paid by international money order, bank wire transfer, credit card, or Paypal. They must be paid in US dollars.   Note:  "Free Shipping" on the website means the 48 contiguous United States.  There are situations where customs officials in your country may seize the material for just about any reason they want. We will comply with international shipping rules and send your package with all the proper documentation. After the materials leave our location and you have the tracking number, you are on your own. We will not discuss transfers, tracking, or refunds on international orders after that time.

8.What is your return policy?

Returns can be accepted under certain conditions.  If the box is completely unopened then you can pay the ACTUAL COST charged to us by FedEx to have the package sent to you and the ACTUAL COST to have it returned.  Once you open the package there will be absolutely no returns accepted. If you refuse delivery your credit card will be automatically charged the ACTUAL AMOUNT that it costs us to have the package shipped back and the ACTUAL COST for us sending the package to you.  It typically costs $45-55 to ship a package back to us.   Remember that "Free Shipping" means we don't charge you for the shipping.  It's not free for us.  Call us before you return any package to go over the policy.

Sometimes we may be available in the early morning or late evening so don't hesitate to call. Feel confident that we will get back to you just as soon as possible. Our emphasis is on communication and customer service. Email is also a great way to communicate and all emails will be answered at the earliest possible moment.
